Again, this was Tyson Furys first world title fight. Haye had been in at least 5. Mormeck, Macaranelli, Valuev, Ruiz and Harrison. Not an amazing list but they had all had major promotion which Hayes appeal benefitted from.

Tyson hasnt done bad at all for a first time challenger and like I said find another first time world title challenger who was paid as much or created such a big event.

Even the biggest name in boxing Floyd Mayweather didnt become a pay per view fighter until about 7 years after becoming a world champion!

Tyson is going to be big time and hes already there!
all very true

doesn't really suggest he will be a bigger draw than Haye though

fury got a small share of a big pie and you cant really compare the heavies with lighter weights, they have an instant appeal advantage

if it ends that he commands more dosh than haye then he will be a big draw indeed
I think hes going to do that in his next fight dont you?
furys next fight will be worth more than hayes next fight yes
Any fight Haye has had
