This answer better be impressive because there's more chance of winning the lottery than finding the correlation between those fights. I give up.

All testaments to how awesome the early 80's were

Was going with all victors under 30 then ran into McCallum or Weaver

    NAILED IT BROTHER. Well done.

It was almost to obvious and I mixed them up. I left out about 30 fights. That decade is by far the best decade of all time. If we are calling decades eras then same thing. Its astonishing really and the 15 rounders just wow. They introduced 12 round title fights in the same decade.

You've got some absolute barn burners on there bud. Considering there is zero live action tonight, tons of ideas for rewatch material! Still have never seen ALL of Sanchez v Lopez or Chacon v Limon. Great list!

I was looking up referees, judges officiating, commentators, favorite flavours of ice cream etc. I even checked to see if Al Bernstien or Michael Buffer were on hand. Or if Harold Lederman used the phrase 'Jim, I gotta tell ya...' Must have too much time on my hands. Good job Spicoli.

There is a good hint in the first post almost glaring that could lead to the answer.

Btw I came up with this from time spent on a personal bucket list with boxing. I only had the time because wolves are taking dogs again in my area and when I take my dogs out there are no leashes involved. I have a big yard with a 6 foot fence but that's not stopping a wolf. No snow on the ground this year. Its causing some problems.

Anyway...I was going to make a point based on my little inquiry but asked a question instead which in the end will validate the point I intend to make.

I tried to find a connection between the Brit's on the list. Nope.

No debate... They were not closed curcuit in the UK, indeed some were shown live on 'Network' TV...
