Since Cruz is a citizen, it would be highly unlikely his citizenship would be revoked. Laws can't be ex post facto but a ruling by the courts could change it for future generations. As for Cruz, the argument is moot. He is currently a citizen and that ain't gonna change, sorry.
Born in Calgary, Canada, as an anchor baby for an illegal Mexican immigrant. Yes sirree, as American as apple pie. He was a Canadian citizen too up to a few years ago. I think we need to see the mother's birth certificate. The long form version too, the actual original copy. So we can check the kerning and make sure it's real. Why haven't we seen the birth certificate?

No matter which one of these idiots ends up winning there's one huge problem down the line. We're going to see an economic downturn and the only way out of it will be massive government spending, serious spending of a trillion or two dollars.

But at least the House if not the Senate won't give any prez any amount of money like that. And we may well get a prez who thinks that government spending isn't the answer to the downturn but instead cutting spending and support for the financial system a la 1930s Mellonite liquidationist theory which turned a market collapse into the Depression.

So the likely range of policy response to the next recession goes from do nothing to make it much worse. And unfortunately with the next one even doing nothing is not an option.

At least Lyle used to make an argument. He never had a clue either but at least he tried to argue back.

Yes, but I don't have the tolerance for utter nonsense that Lyle does. It would serve me better to fight windmills than trudge in such utter nonsense.

Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump told a New Hampshire crowd Friday morning that his rival Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) was "an anchor baby in Canada."

The polls I've seen have him up double digits but I'm losing faith in polls. Both he and Sanders lead the pack in NH if the polls are accurate..

Holy cow, Sanders and trump kicked ass. I looked at both of them as almost joke like candidates at the beginning. Funny how this shit plays out. Bush did well enough to hang in for a bit. Sanders win I NH isn't that much of surprise in the granite state isn't that shocking but the way he ran away with it was. A trump v Sanders election would be one of the more interesting elections I can imagine, a socialist v whatever trump is but at this point I still don't see it happening. If Hillary didn't get in maybe we will see Chelsea in 12 or 16 years. If Sanders wins I'm moving in with Miles for a while.

I said months ago Sanders could win Iowa and New Hampshire and lose everywhere else. Both states are lily white and Sanders hasn't shown he can get the blacks or the browns to vote for him. Unless he can he's going to lose pretty much everywhere else.

He's got no chance in a general election though. Americans aren't going to vote for a total overhaul of their healthcare system though. Just on that point they're going to go with the status quo. Add on that he's a bad tempered old Jewish socialist from New York and he's just not electable.

Trump had a great result. He's shown that the people who say they'll vote for him will actually turn up and vote. The establishment have had a nightmare. Rubio was their blue eyed boy but his software glitches at the weekend may have finished him. The most devastatingly bad debate performance since you're no Jack Kennedy.

The establishment have the choice between malfunctioning robot Rubio, a guy with the last name of Bush or Kasich, a guy who conservative voters will hate and who has no money.

Let's go Donald. Bring those jobs back.
