I seem to be in the minority that actually think Garcia is a top fighter, however, his only chance against Khan is to chin him again. If he hadn't already chinned him it would look like a borderline mismatch stylewise. Khan should be able to run rings around him.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
Garcia does have the tendency to cut and have his face broken up, Khan was on his way to doing this after just a couple of rounds until the big left hook. I've seen footage of Garcia talking openly about the Khan fight and he admitted to basically being a punching bag until he got his timing going. I think it's a real 50/50 fight and it's really annoying that Khan so far has not managed to avenge his losses. Cheaterson was not his fault but apart from that he needs to get those straightened out.
If the same Khan shows up that fought Alexander, Garcia could get pummeled from pillar to post. Sure, I realize that Devon is a counter puncher but Khan had it all together on that the night and if he could hold off the full charge of Garcia over the opening few rounds he could cruise to victory and maybe even get a towel stoppage.
I guess Khan and Floyd had words at the fight. Floyd probably to him to beat Kell and then they can talk. Most likely called him gutless for demanding 80/20 to fight his countrymen admitting to the world that he wants nothing to do with him.
Sorry fellas but I just dont see Floyd coming back to fight Garcia either after what he witnessed. He's not going out on Andre Berto and then coming back for 50 against Danny Garcia. Grant it, he could probably fight the stadium janitor for 50 and still make 100 million.
I'd wager that he would not even come back as a welter. He seemed pretty casual with his retirement with that short interview. I doubt he comes back this year but he could. If he comes back its because he sees a kink in Golovkin and gets a catch or he waits to see what the fake middleweight is doing since for some reason Alvarez is still the most money. I've always believed that the Leonard accomplishment with Hagler dogs him and has for several years. Time will tell.
I think so too, he's become underrated now imo. I'll pick Garcia if this happens, he knows he only needs to land once and he's the one who has improved since the first fight. Khan should have been be able to run rings around everyone who has hurt and beaten him, this blueprint for him to keep away and use his speed and range all but doesn't exist, he always makes the same mistakes. He hasn't even been active, and Garcia was the last guy he fought with any real punch.
Theres no way this can't happen this summer...Garcia will have to dig deep after 3 rounds and just brawl.
I'm in two minds as to whether this fight comes off or not. Khan knows a money fight with Brook is around, will he try to play hard ball asking for too much for a Garcia fight?
I'd like to see the fight, Khan gets a shot at redemption.
If khan stays away or Garcia spends the whole night persuing him, khan can squeeze out a points victory. I think Garcia lands the shot again, because khan can't resist trying to prove his some kind of beast.
Khan could have arguably better footwork under virgil than he had before but hasn't upped his IQ. In a perfect fight, Khan perfects his lateral movement, uses his reach and speed to pick at garcia and pivots out every time garcia crowds him and stiff arms him with a jab to gets the distance he needs to keep the fight going this way. Looking like ali cutting up a bum rushing slugger.
The reality for me is that khan doesn't always listen to his trainers. So you can bet even if he started out perfect, he'd abandon the plan for what he thinks he can get away with. Also his linear jousting style, depends much on accuracy and power-- and his greedy offense leaves him him in the worst possible place a chinny guy can be when his punches stop. It's like having a Ferrari that stalls in the middle of every intersection, railroad crossing, and at the end of every on ramp. He bounces on the in outside and then comes straight forward leaning into fast flurries that brings him right into Garcias wheelhouse. It works well on guys that will shell up or retreat as hes throwing punches or guys that can't take his punches....but... Khan tends to focus so much on his offense that he ignores everything else going on or possible at that moment, which is why he keeps getting caught with shots he doesn't see. Garcia can bait khan and time him with the counter hook again or pivot and loop one over the top like the shot that Donaire momentarily put Rigo on his butt with. Khan would need to work on controlling his distance and exiting safely (whether that'd footwork, jabbing his way out or just clinching and hoping the ref resets)-- just my opinion...i could be wrong.
They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.

I cannot believe how many people have jumped on the "Amir Khan is a high class quality Boxer" bandwagon, even to the extent that apparently Garcia doesn't want the fight!
Tell me, wtf has Garcia got to worry about? I've heard nonsense like:
"in the first fight , Khan was accumulating rounds" - really ? Garcia plugged him in the 2nd Round and KO'd him in the 4th . Accumulating rounds my ass!
"Khan will outbox him and Garcia will be bloodied and stopped" - When has Garcia been stopped?
"Garcia doesn't want the fight" - Why wouldn't he want the fight? he knocked the cunt out last time.
"Garcia will give up his title" - What? why would he give up his title against someone who has no proven power in this division. he's hardly likely to be scared is he? if he gave up his title, he gives up the potential to be an elite fighter in the division and earn optimum money. he's gonna do that because of Khan? come on.
"Khan will keep Garcia away for 12 rounds" - answer me this ? if Khan is such a technically gifted boxer, how come he couldn't stop Chris Algieri coming forward at him and running him down?
Not Floyd, not Manny, not an elite fighter, but a fighter who had been floored 8, yes 8 times in his 2 previous fights. Khan made him look like a World beater!
I suggest people scrutinise Khan's record very carefully before they start elevating him to God Like Status!![]()
No one is or should make out that this is a formality for khan to win. However Khan has a better defence now and Garcia has looked beatable since he defeated Amir.
