I give Calzaghe his credit for beating Lacy the way he did. But we all know that he has virtually a nameless resume. He doesn't have to stay at SMW and all of the greats move around in weight, unless they're HW. But I will say that if Calzaghe does ever take on a future hall of famer he will show people that he is every bit worthy of being on the p4p list. The boy is nice no matter if you want to accept it or not. But he gives cynics fuel because he doesn't take the fights that he should be taking. He isn't getting any younger. And as far as the Lacy fight and these so called experts. The real experts, Lacy's sparring partners, knew it was trouble for Lacy. My homie, Antwan Echols who gave B-Hop a nice first fight, was Lacy's sparring partner and he told me Lacy couldn't even do anything with him let alone Calzaghe. Even Wright had his concerns and said that Lacy needs to learn how to box. I was one of those people that thought Lacy would win handily and I thought Echols was punch drunk when he put $2500 on Calzaghe. But I've never seen Lacy in the gym so I was ignorant to his weaknesses. Actually I was mesmerized by his power and of course the hype. I remember when Lacy was calling out B-Hop and I saw Lacy's inability to box in the Robin Reid fight I said this boy has no business in the ring with B-Hop. Yet, I once again was tricked into overlooking it for the Calzaghe fight.
