    So apparently it's Dominic Wade.....

I tried watching this but can't be bothered as it's not good action. Seems like the guy is reasonably talented and quick, but lazy and without a big punch or much of an identity/awareness/whatever. He also has a promoter who doesn't put much stock in being undefeated, evidently

Watched a few rounds. Considering he was fighting Soliman, a man that makes every fight god-awful, he looked pretty solid. He fights taller than 5'10 and looks like he has some reach (I checked - 5' over GGG).

Mw has always been kinda of a lack luster division for the most part i mean Hopkins, Hagler and Carlos best wins were guys that were moving up division at that weight. Mw just never had that much star power and did not have same king of boxing as the hws with the size they had.

Don't know who GGG will be fighting in May. It definitely won't be Canelo, as Canelo has turned his attention toward Khan. Fans wanting a GGG-Canelo to materialize may have to wait quite a while, as Canelo's sure to go through the welterweight division, at some weight to which they might be willing to bloat up to.

So after Canelo fights khan, will he fight Crawford next?

    LOL.

On the 1% chance Khan presented problems to Canelo..... why not?
You keep going down the weight divisions until you find someone who bloated or not cannot possibly have the power to test your chin nor take your own middleweight punch.

Sounds like a failsafe strategy to me.

This next fighter kinda shows that the depth at the weight class is as lacking as ever. I mean like said early whos Haglers best wins Duran and Hearns, Hopkins at mw Tito and Oscar, GGG best opponent will be Canelo in September. You think that a weight class that is more peoples weight would have more talent but man Mw talent is worse then the heavyweights there is GGG then no one else. I will say that GGG got fucked in waiting but at least he fighting although the more look at his opponents the more i see how much talent this division has lacked over the years just plain bad.

Easy nights work for Golovkin. Watched this live and had to bleach my eyes after, think Soliman could have nicked it on the cards with little controversy. Al Haymon is sending this kid into the meat grinder feet first.

Yeah from what I saw it seemed like Wade was the better fighter but just not making the fight. Appreciate that Soliman is an octopus and tough guy to face, but he's also old and was coming off that big knee injury and loss to the ghost of Jermain Taylor, plus he's lost to every really good fighter he's ever been in with. Hardly the type to prepare you for GGG.
