This next fighter kinda shows that the depth at the weight class is as lacking as ever. I mean like said early whos Haglers best wins Duran and Hearns, Hopkins at mw Tito and Oscar, GGG best opponent will be Canelo in September. You think that a weight class that is more peoples weight would have more talent but man Mw talent is worse then the heavyweights there is GGG then no one else. I will say that GGG got fucked in waiting but at least he fighting although the more look at his opponents the more i see how much talent this division has lacked over the years just plain bad.

Now I've always stuck up for GGG, and I'm a fan of his, but I will not condone or defend this bullshit below from his promoter.
Golovkin's Promoter Confirms Interest in Bernard Hopkins Fight - Boxing News

This gives the anti GGG brigade all the ammunition they would need to feast on. I can hear it now.
    1. they want to fight a 51 year old.
    2. they want a 51 year old to come down in weight.
    3. they want to go to 168lb for him , but not for others.
    4. they're saying this is more box office than Andre Ward. (Yeah, I know they're using this to have a dig at Ward, and don't really believe it.)
GGG's promoter is a loud mouthed twat and doesn't do Golovkin any favours any time he opens his mouth. Yeah, I know it's all publicity, but it's bollocks.
I still like Golovkin as a bloke and a Boxer and I believe he wants the best guys out there.

I can understand why though. He can't get any big names and bhop although old, is a big name in boxing that will give him some sort of recognition.

Like i said before the talent in mw is just not there which is so weird because 160 to 180 there alot of guys that fit that size. I can understand hw not being as talented because people are not that big most of the time i have no idea why the talent at mw is GGG and some people moving up in class.
