right so now im ashamed!!!
the fact of the matter is...untiill just now i had never seen willie pep fight....
but i knew he was held in high regard by alot of big boxing fans... and bieng a bit slow to the draw your man body head jus checked him out....
amazing!! you can say nothing apart from he was just far far far before his time, i dont think theres many story's out there that match up with his... better then vinnie paz and ric flairs comebacks from huge accidents....
his rematch with saddler was an old school parralel to duran - leonard II
his bobbing weaving and all together skill and great story is great...
certainly changes my perception of all time P4P rankings..
so i thought i'd share this with you :P

I'vel earned many things here, I'll share the 1st thing I learned here that I didn't know prior to joining Saddo. I didn't know Naz was regarded/labeled as a one of the GREATS untill I got here. Now wether I agree or not thats a different sotry.

Willie Pep was brilliant - a defensive master who once won a round on all three judges cards without throwing a punch. O boxing genuis who was also tough as old boots.

Aha!! So you CAN win rounds without throwing punches,that backs up my theiry that B Hop beat JT the first time by winning some of the earlier rounds even though he hardly threw anything! aS FOR pEP,I have only seen a few of his fights and he was a defensive genius!! I would like to see more though!

he is one hell of a fighter. imagine winning a round without throwing a punch. that is total amazing. i have full respect for this guy. one of the best in my opinion
