Martin is doing a big media campaign over here and doing a lot of interviews. He seems a nice guy and selling the ppv fight really well.

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

Yeah what a shit fight to make, Hearn should be ashamed of himself for being brilliant at his job.

Press conferences are held to sell tickets. If you've sold out you're gonna mention it.

I spose your news agent also tells you how many papers hes sold every time hes selling you one too
Or when you pick up your chnese takeaway mr Wong tells you how many portions of special fried rice they have done that nght
Its just totally irrelevant information to you. As is Hearn telling people how many tickets hes sold. You want to know about the fighters not the logistics of putting a show together at a press conference to get people interested in watching![]()

Are you having a fucking bubble with those analogies?
99% of press conferences start and end with the promoter explaining where and when to purchase tickets. Press conferences solely happen to SELL the fight. The reporters are there to publish their stories which benefits the promoter in SELLING the fight.
If a fight has sold out before the initial press conference it becomes vital info not irrelevant.

The fight is sold out so Hearn is now selling the PPV. Letting the British public know it sold out in 90 seconds helps persuade people that it's an event worth forking twenty quid out to watch on their tellies. So Hearn is doing both the obvious and the right thing in this instance.

The sooner that fucking pikey gets sparked the better. This is almost as annoying as the pactard era.
