99% of press conferences start and end with the promoter explaining where and when to purchase tickets. Press conferences solely happen to SELL the fight. The reporters are there to publish their stories which benefits the promoter in SELLING the fight.
If a fight has sold out before the initial press conference it becomes vital info not irrelevant.
Agreed , also by telling us how popular the fight is , it makes more people not in the know want to watch it on TV.
This will make them even more money, great promotional work in my opinion.
Also if Hearn has sold out ,then he can gloat this is a popular fight it would seem.
I'm pretty sure they will land more than 7 and 4 punches a round , it could be a fun fight I will be watching.
