I don't follow the numbers very closely, obviously this fight will sell big and that's why it happened, they were willing to pay Martin a lot more than he is worth for the fact. Deontay Wilder isn't really a big draw compared to anyone I feel like? He'll make people money fighting in smaller venues in his home state, and being with Al Haymon probably get rewarded very well for it. A fight between him and Martin for instance wouldn't sell shit on it's own, when on paper it is what people were saying the division lacked for so long.
