A couple weeks ago an the wife of an NBA coach died in a car crash due to another person driving with a dog in their lap.
I am going all in on a Porter tko now. Thurman will know the definition of physicality standing you still and why you don't leave your hands extended. Great fight potential this one
Damit Spicoli, I thought this fight had been cancelled again when it was the first thread showingTotal pick em for me, interesting clash. I expect Thurman to look pretty good and land mostly what he wants in the early rounds. Does he hit hard enough to hurt/significantly deter Porter, and will he be able to keep boxing if not? Has Porter got any ability to adapt if things don't start going his way after the first few rounds, or Thurman doesn't tire? I don't think either have a good chance of beating Kel Brook or Spence, which is the real fight to be made in the divison.
Not as excited about this fight as I was months ago. Accidents happen, but stil..
Sparring session
Compared to Porter he is skilled. As a stand alone statement he is not. His "boxing" is him literally running away until he can plant his feet to throw one shot before running again. I put quotes on boxing because it is not educated movement, it is not purposeful except to get away. There are far more purposes to movement that Thurman does not employ than purposes he does employ.
I changed the thread title as I just thought... fuck!! Before realising it was an old thread
Can't pick a winner yet. Seeing Thurman back peddling in agony against old Collazo last time makes me think anything can happen. Porter's bull strength charge against Thurman's sharp shooting. Cracking fight.

3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
That's a bit of my thinking as I don't see much in between game with Thurman. Rolling to flat feet and looking for power or in the case of Bundu where he basically had his peterpan shoes on and was doing a bit of stiff posture boxing. He has this rigidity to him when moving out and often backs straight facing high pressure. He was rocked across the ring vs Soto Karass and momentarily looked clueless and both Guerrero...his biggest fight to date?...and Callozo had him buzzed. Think he'll be forced into some taxing clichés and heavy mauling with what should be a heavier Porter who hits you with these chopping shots and both shoulders. Mentally get a feeling Porter is much more aware of himself than Thurman who is quite the theatrical fella but we'll see.
