David Haye has re-entered the WBA heavyweight rankings at No 9 after his first fight in nearly four years ended in a decisive knockout win.
WBA heavyweight rankings
Luis Ortiz
Lucas Browne
Wladimir Klitschko
Shannon Briggs
Alexander Ustinov
Fres Oquendo
Andrey Fedesov
Antonio Tarver
David Haye
Erkan Teper
Good news to any hayes fans, No 1 ranked Luis Ortiz is also due to fight No 5 Alexander Ustinov, crowding the route for Haye to climb the rankings and win back the title belt he once wore.

That is a depressing set of rankings and no mistake. Shannon Briggs, Oquendo and Tarver makes it feel like a list from the early 2000s. Too many guys who have been beating the bum of the month in their respective homelands, rather than getting involved in meaningful fights.
Odd question, here: Do any of you see Haye's loss to Thompson as valid?
I don't like Haye one bit, but it seemed kinda bogus stoppage. One Legit loss imo That's Klitschko.
All's lost! Everything's going to shit!

No disgrace in losing to The Cat. It was also a fantastic learning fight for Haye, he never punched himself out ever again.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.

If you watch a number of Carl Thompson fights he tends to do an Arturo Gatti type comeback in a lot of his fights, his chin, heart and punch power is amazing. Haye was spent and had very little left in the tank.
Haye was desperate for revenge and Carl wanted more than what he got for the victory but the funds were not raised. Even in retirement Thompson was asked by Haye for a return as David was desperate to reverse that loss.
