I don't see this a silly at all.... Benn 52 and Eubank 49

    How old is Hopkins?

Benn is in great shape and this would embarress ALOT of current "World Champs" in terms of ticket sales and PPV buys.

Would easily sell out Wembley Stadium twice over and I think would be a great fight still.

Ive heard that Eddie Hearn is being approached to promote this and both fighters are bang up for it and that it is also very close to being a done deal.

Let them fight I say and you just know the old rivalry is still gonna be right there once the bell goes

These 2 may be in good condition but they are not fighting fit. Benn left quitting after Collins and Eubank was stooped by Thompson. Are they going to take the punishment or run away with the money?

Eubank was winning the Thompson fight. His eye swelled shut and the ref stopped it between rounds.

What you have sad is right, nether is proper match fit but both are n the same page.

Benn has done a few exhibition bouts a couple of years ago but to be fair he would have had harder sparring.

Whoever gets this is on to a financial winner. There will be another rematch beyond this potential one and then you will have Collins coming out of the woodwork. Maybe Toney and Jones Jr want a piece of the cake as well.

Shorten the distance, shorten the rounds, give them bigger gloves. At the end of the day its their personalities and their peronalities clashing as well as their styles that people will want to see.

People would still pay to see Mike Tyson fight anyone. Its the attractiveness of their fighting style and personality not the hope they might fight for a world title again.

Sounds like someone needs the money ! I just can't see the point past there best the both of them, but all the hype people will buy into it, Mr Hearn must be foaming at the mouth ALL that money he can make out of to OLD boxers.

These old guard can get seriously hurt and embarrass the sport. they should show some respect at their age.

I don't believe for one second that Eubank has any intention of having a rubber match with Benn.

He has always known how to push Benn's buttons & he knows that Benn would jump at it.

The world does not need to see two rickety 50 year olds trying to resurrect a rivalry from a quarter of a century ago.
