Typically nowadays, there's a lot of conjecture here. I think we need to see who the opponent ends up being and then we'll have a better idea of what's gonna happen. I do think Haye thought it would be easier to get the fights he wants, not realising fighters , promoters , even TV stations are gonna say "fuck you, why should we help." and indeed why should they do him any favours?
The one thing I would say, is I think it's a bit shitty starting to sell tickets and chatting shit without being anywhere near naming an opponent.
I think he's gonna piss on his chips if he ain't careful. People will only get mugged off for a certain amount of time, then they'll wake up and smell the coffee.

Haye can sell tickets without an opponent because his punters aren't specifically boxing fans they're Haye fans. As he proved last time, it doesn't matter who he fights, he draws a massive gate and TV audience. The least of his problems is not being wanted, he equals big dough for everyone involved.

But still no one wants to promote him?

Thats because they are not so sure he has what it takes any more. They want to see someone give it to him and how he responds.

Hearn wouldnt put big money on a show where an actual contender would be facing Haye because he still has value as a name opponent. If he looks shit or gets beat that fucks that up. The promoters are waiting and fighting nobodies will not help him. Hes out in the cold at the minute. Fury has said after the Klitschko rematch he wants the winner of Martin v Joshua. If that happens and he wins which I think he does then he wants the winner of Wilder v Povetkin. If these fights happen Haye has a lot of water treading to do piling his own money in to shows to keep himself relevant.

That's true, but like I said before, that won't last forever. His fans, Whether Boxing fans or not, they will cotton on to Bullshit match ups eventually and his star will wane. We're not at that place yet, but it is a danger and he needs to be careful.
Personally, I don't think like Ross, that he's scared of anyone, but naturally he will look for the least risk/ most reward fights. But the problem being getting the guys that he wants, they're not going to say "Yeah, why not!"

Couldn't have put it better myself, have tried in the past but Ross is as you say a terminally thick cunt.

Haye will, as we both know, make a few quid over the next few years, most importantly for boxing the lions share wont go to fat mick, Hearn or Warren, whats not to like?
