Watched black and white film Yojimbo which has a western cowboy feel to it so there is a connection between the genre going way back to 1961.

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Watched shogun assassin which was made 1981 and is dated the special effects are laughable and the storyline bordering on the absurd with the shogan assassin fighting with his baby in his arms. Enjoyable romp.

Ic Master is into Centurion films.
Check out Sword of Doom. I rate this a top 5 Samurai flick. It is fuckin brutal
There are a series of martial arts films coming on film 4 every Friday.
Watched 36th chamber of shaolin which had good martial arts but poor story line. Film made in 1978 starring John Cheung.

Meals on wheels.
Certain fight scene at the end I enjoyed.
Watched King Boxer 1973, the film was responsible for beginning the kung fu film craze of the 1970s, though it is overshadowed by Enter the Dragon released later that same year.
The film has a cult following in the U.S., and was referenced in Quentin Tarantino's film Kill Bill, which sampled the theme from the television series ironside. The music was used by Talk sport radio in the section "Heads Gone".

I love Enter the Dragon.
I watched it again the other day on cable, and I must say I even enjoy the shitty acting.
Still... it was pretty much par for the course back in those days, and Enter the Dragon was a groundbreaking and terrific film in its own right. The acting of Jim Kelly in particular gave me a few chuckles but then again... wasn't he a professional athlete or something? The bad guy was pretty hilarious himself.
Come Drink with me 1966 film which has a lot of sword fighting. You can see the western type scenes in the film and the special moves are very dated. The physical violence is extreme.

Watched one armed swordsman which was actually better than I was expecting. It had good fighting action, story line and characters. It was about honour, integrity, humility and courage.

Boxer from Shantung was unrealistic film but like Scarface where a poor man rises up the crime world until his s eventual demise. Interesting history of China being addicted to opium and fighting with axes.

Return of the One-Armed Swordsman was a good film. It is the sequel to the classic which made Jimmy Wang Yu famous. There was less of a plot more action, weapons, and fighting.

5 deadly venoms was so bad it was awful.

Finally saw Ip Man 3... my DVD hustle man had the non English version.
Pretty decent fight scene with Tyson.
Ip Man 1 is the best though.
