He seriously works the blindside with the beltline stuff, using some aged Hopkins kinship and that's not an insultvery physical here

andre ward doesnt seem to use his right hand much, maybe i am imagining it though, is he injured ?

Final round! Like to see Ward shoot through the openings, make a statement. Very sparse with the right

Ok Ward.... you won. Now get off your ass and go fight Kovalev.

my score card is 116-110 for ward :S although i dont think he should have had a point taken off..
good to see ward back in action, I think he certainly needs one more fight before he takes on kovalev though.
If this son of god shows up against the russian he'll get stomped!

The fight was a little shallow on output but Wards D was phenomenal dare I say Floyd like. Did the same thing to Barrera that Floyd did to 95% of his opponents. People that routinely throw 400 punches a fight or more get reduced to a third which they miss with. I think Barrera hit him in the face semi-clean twice in 36 minutes.Barrera was gun shy the last 4 rounds and the hesitance started back at the kd with Ward coming off the ropes. Never saw Barrera have to fight going backward before. Hope I never have to again. Ward fought a very intelligent fight and it was probably the most important win of his career given the circumstances. Ward showed no skill erosion at all. Put on a clinic really.
I'm with you guys wondering about the lack of rights lol, maybe Ward was worried about counters, he seemed to get tagged off balance after throwing it big a couple times earlier. Overall a good fight, Barrera is a physical beast with some skills, but fairly rigid and was to slow.
