From Martin jumping into this fight because it was his biggest possible payday I'm going to go with Joshua. But Martin will be fighting like he's got nothing to lose so anything could happen.
I think that plays huge in this and is being overlooked. Martin has this another day at the office/rastafarian/tranquil/lets just do it thing going on. Maybe its as simple as you say in that he's just glad to be getting what I assume is 7 figures. Perhaps its good enough for him to help out his family members and get himself free and clear but I dont know his situation. Maybe he's solid and flush. I think thats who he is and its a breath of fresh air. Like Fury but a from a different angle. I'd wager both men are like they are in real life. No act. The trash talk Martin has recently started is an act.

Joshua still plods around, cant jab a lick and imo still has a chin question. Martin has a heavy jab and seems to know which way to move to take advantage of being a southpaw to get that straight left in.
Sounds a bit like Audley Harrison LOL but its whats above the shoulders. I doubt Martin was sleeping in silk sheets at 20.
I read Martin is getting three and a half million dollars. That's not a big amount if you're confident of being able to defend against mandatories and then make a US fight against Wilder or somebody similar so they're either really confident they can beat Joshua (and they can't really be) or they're just cashing in.

Anything could happen in this fight from an early KO for either guy to both guys knocking each other down. We could end up with more questions than answers over the winner than there are now. I wasn't really interested in this fight or the Pacquaio fight but now I am at least interested in this fight, the Manny fight is only interesting if Manny has slid so much he's beatable. I'm away at the weekend and am trying to make arrangements to watch the Joshua fight now.
That’s a crazy amount of money for a guy considered to be a one hit wonder who got the tin via weird injury. Triple G just started making 7 figures so that’s crazy cash for this division given the circumstances. It could look like Tyson v Ferguson or Tyson v Tucker. What if he knocks Joshua out?

I think Bradley is going to beat Manny and it will be written off as Manny being junk now. According to Arum, Manny jacked his rotator against Oscar and is now 100% so no excuses. No random testing. No excuses.

I got your back for the fight. There will be tons of hook ups.

Do you mean Oscar or Floyd because Oscar was ages ago.

Since Oscar. Manny fought all those since Skelator I mean Oscar with the injury. That is what the entire camp says now. I mean that's an entire thread on its own so......

Agreed AJ will land early and finish him.

I do admit that Martin looks a bit cumbersome and a bit of a plodder, but being a southpaw and a little bit wily, I just think it may take AJ a bit of time to work him out.
Obviously I could be wrong and he could do what Tyson did to Berbick.
(Btw that is not a knee jerk comparison of AJ to Mike Tyson, just the situation.)

Thing is, people keep talking about this cagey wiley southpaw but which fight did he show that in?

glazkov (what ever his face is) found him a bit tricky in the first but then out landed him in the second, martin also drops his hands when he punches

he doesn't even really move very quick

if he is as hard as nails you never know, but I don't even think that will be the case, he's got chicken legs

I'll take the Martin is pony stuff a bit further... I don't think he looks like a big puncher. All his stoppage wins have come against fat bellies that have been stopped before/after facing him.

He hasn't chinned a single fighter that would qualify for a British title shot let alone world (ignoring Glazkov's knee).

Ive just watched that highlight reel and - assuming that a highlight reel shows a fighter's best moments - I shudder to think what George Foreman, Joe Frazier or Mike Tyson would have done to Martin.
