No; Rosario was only a year or so past the Camacho fight and blitzing Bramble; he was considered a beast. Chavez was moving up in weight and had looked anything but a superstar in the LaPorte and Lockridge fights; I think Rosario was the slight favourite going in, many thinking Chavez was too small and maybe overhyped.
Hindsight is a beautiful thing!
That fight Chavez was indestructible. remember Tyson was supporting Rosario as he trained with him sitting and screaming at ringside.
The scary thing was Rosario's very young son had to sit through the entire fight from ringside as well!
