Tyson v Spinks

I thought Spinks would win; and if I was in Vegas and seven years older I could have got odds of 5/1.

The only Tyson fight of that period that was close was Tyson/Berbick; it was a pick'em up to fight week, but the last week a lot of money went on Tyson and he started a warm favourite at around 1/3.

Tyson destroyed both with ease. Amazing with hindsight.

Tapia v Romero. Really never saw this as 50/50 myself but great big push and hometown roots. Not a beat down but Tapia on top of it from jump! Nelson v Fenech 2..what a train wreck. Zamora v Zarate ? Norris v Leonard. Man that wasn't even 50-50 for Norris...still don't understand that.

Ironically - although about 8 years older if Joshua after Martin now went and took out Wilder in 1 or 2 rounds (possible given if they fought it would be a bomb fest I'm sure) and then outpointed Fury he would have done what Tyson did virtually with the KO 2 Berbick KO 1 Spinks UD 12 Tucker

And given how hyped joshua is at the moment the brits would believe he really was the next Tyson

you're right , we don't know what he could end up. but we do know one thing.......AJ at his peak whenever that is, will never be as good as Tyson at his peak. Whatever happened after etc. but at their Peaks, no brainer.
