I want AJ to get some rounds in and experience against truly world class fighters. If he does that then he can unify the division.
Fury is a maverick and just may be too bloody minded to let AJ do it.

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
As to the fight, maybe it's just me and I count fast, but to me, I counted to 13 seconds before Martin got up on his feet for the first knockdown.

So Martin could have been stopped on that alone. As to the second knockdown. I think he did that "get up at the count of 9.5 and then complain" thing that boxers do when they don't want to fight on. He didn't look or act devastated. He got 4 mill for 5 minutes work. "Not a bad days graft" is how Martin will be looking at it.

Fury would beat Joshua. Is Joshua better than Klitschko?
Joshua last night is better than the Wlad that fought Fury.
Would Jason Gavern have got in to the 3rd with Klitschko?
Would Whyte have got to the 7th with Klitschko?
What difference does that make? Surely the question should end with Fury rather than Klitschko? And then the answers would probably be yes and yes.
Martin would have probably be wiped in in the first too!
And your point is?
You always try and use the old " X beat Y better than Z did " which is meaningless. It's all about what would happen if Fury and Joshua were in the ring. Forget Gavern, forget Whyte, forget the fucking Chisoras and Rogan's of this World, it's about AJ v Fury.

That is the biggest single pile of shit you have ever written!
Joshua did better against Martin than Klitschko did against Fury is what you mean.
Joshua wasnt fighting Tyson Fury though. If he was I doubt he has the stamina to still be there and try and fight back in the 12th. He would look just as clueless and would have his head jabbed off. Fucking hell you lot get excited over very little!

Well acording to Hearn, July the 9th the UK public get to watch the best heavyweight in the world.
While Joshua defends his old title![]()
I enjoyed the boxing, sat down at 6 when it started and just drank my bottles of stella and veged on the couch for 6 hours
well worth the £17
i'm looking forward to the next one

Now ,now Ross , I think it is YOU that is getting excited.
"Joshua did better against Martin than Klitschko did against Fury is what you mean."
No, that's not what I meant. I never mentioned Martin, He's a Wanker as far as I am concerned. What I said was that the AJ that fought Saturday was better than the Wlad that fought Fury. I don't think anyone can deny that AJ performed better on Saturday than Wlad did against Fury. Obviously , different opposition, but you're the one for A versus B versus C, Blah,Blah,Blah.
I notice that you focus on one sentence to question, that can be a bit misleading, but I'll have to take it that either you agree with the rest of my post or have no answer to it. Always a Pleasure, have a good day.![]()

I'd be more worried for Joshua against Wilder, Ortiz, Haye and Povetkin than Fury. Anyone without explosive power will be a punch bag.

Explosive power?
Out of Haye Povetkin and Fury its only Fury that had Wlad in any kind of trouble!
Yeah their " explosive power" really helped them...
Joshua will be in trouble against anyone with a jab who can (will) move. Bruno Jr.
Hughie Fury will go on to prove himself better than Joshua.
Array
Hughie could have proved that already, he/Peter/Fat Mick didnt have the stones for it did they.
Why is it that you're so desperate to see Joshua beaten? It's pretty pathetic to be honest.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

Joshua isn't an old man terrified of getting hit. Fury doesn't have the power to keep away from him, in fact we know that for a fact as Fury admitted AJ bashed him up before in sparring.
The other four guys I mentioned could knock Joshua out with one shot. That's the difference.
