I feel like he's talked himself into a much higher standing than he realistically should be in, and there's nothing to suggest he's even dangerous in the early rounds on a high level. When was the last time he showed that? The highlight of the last 15 years of his career is probably the Liakovich fight, and that's saying something.

Martin takes a lot of stick in the form of right hands off the jab and deserved criticism for melting away like a microwaved snowball. He was knocked for taking 10 rounds to get that Love guy out where Joshua planked him in 2. Briggs went a full twelve rounds..and it was his biggest win in ten years

I can count on one finger the time I rooted for Haye and it'll be him thumping on the glorified huff n' puff Briggs.

I've actually come to like Briggs, he's a bit nuts and all but he's a character and he has the odd line/moment that are pretty funny. You can't blame the old guy for trying to promote himself and cash out, and I'd like to see him do something to retire with a bit of money. I also think he'll be lucky not to get hurt against any of the guys he's asking for though.
