I think Khan completely outboxs Canelo and then gets robbed on the scorecards cause let's be real Canelo has had some really strange scorecards going his way in a lot of his fights. No one gets a decision against Canelo unless you 12-0 him and even then it's still a spit decision

Khan needs to be quicker than Usain Bolt to have a chance. Canelo is a bit of a plodder but doesn't have slow hands. Khan didn't bring his power up to welter so it's a safe bet he hasn't got a hope in hell of hurting Canelo.

I think it will be similar to the Garcia fight. Khan will start well then Bzzzzzzz - Kip.

For all his skill(vastly overrated) and speed(accurately rated) Khan simply isn't an intelligent fighter. He can be brilliant if you let him fight his fight. Make him think and he will come apart. Even if you don't make him think you can still make him leap into something big with his predictable style.

If Canelo is even half what he is advertised he will stop Khan.

I don't think Canelo is near the puncher his is made out to be, but he is enough. And he's a better boxer than he is made out to be. He should take Khan out.

Edit-that said, Khan boxing his ears off would be hysterical.

If Virgils smart, he'll have khan try to use his distance, lands, 2/5 on the flurry and try to clinch which is what he does with ward. So look for Khan to try to fit into a Ward-esque rinse and repeat (perimeter stalk, attack, bury in, get walked out) kind of performance. Try stay off the ropes and frustrate Canelo and make it easier on himself in the later rounds where he can take rounds off and stay fresher. Its a win for khan publicity wise even if he survives.

Canelo should look to press Khan and force him to carry that extra weight and use his legs for the first 4 or 5 rounds, so he wears himself out. Bang the body with body and borderline belt shots and take his legs away... After that khans a touch slower, his legs are heavy and he's a sitting duck and will be forced to trade with Canelo.

I agree that this could be the typical khan oversight fight. Start well, look like he has a plan and a momentarily lapse of concentration eff's it all up. Either Canelo can't be hurt by Khan and throws with him looking knock on the same door Garcia knocked on with the left hook over the top. Or Khan strays from the game plan and tries to punch out with Canelo and gets clobbered. Or slows down just enough for Canelo to catch him in the later rounds. I get the feeling Khan tries to use the Ward technique listed above, has some moderate success and the first time canelo wobbles him, there will be a quick stoppage
They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.

I've got extreme inside knowledge that Liam Smith outclassed Khan in sparring and he's looking fleshy. Stamina wasn't all that either, very reliable source too.

Like throw a bra into the ring kind of flabby? I hope not but they have sure been tight on the pictures from camp. Khans got a pretty big frame. Its hard to believe he'd have issues putting on a few pounds.

There were some picture in the Daily Mail a month or so ago and he did not look good at all with the weight on. What weight he does put on is bound to slow him down and it's not going to lead to him sparking the ginger, is it?

Khan gets knocked out at some point. It's probably going to be pretty brutal as well, it's a Mexican holiday crowd and a PPV audience and a Vegas ref who is going to give people as much of their money's worth as possible. Khan is not going to get a British stoppage.

Canelo's resume literally outweighs kahns' resume (In weight divisions) Khan has been KO'd by smaller men. Khan seems to be a good fighter that was passed by others but there was also some annoying ranting and raving. Canelo leaves me scratching my head and I wonder why he has this title and allowed to dictate weight. I know Khan will give a good account of himself if he sticks and moves avoiding trading hooks with a hooker. As they say in American football, Khan is the quarterback and has to hit the target before being mowed down like grass by a lawn mower. Still the bigger man with some moves of his own Canelo may have underestimated a man who still has a great deal to prove and has an ego that could fill Wembley Stadium. I am leaning on Canelo for the win because the odds have been in his favor since the negotiations were in session and hoping at least that Khan doesn't wind up career wise as they say in the US Marines, writing a check with his mouth that his ass can't cash." If he loses, let's hope he proves that the middleweight champion was lucky he wasn't fighting Golovkin. He has to stick and move (Khan) and fight like he has a ten foot pole keeping away a bimbo that no one wants to be near in a raunchy bar located in a place just a few miles from hell.

If Khan gets a $13 million dollar payday, that's his biggest victory. He'll laugh his way out of the emergency room straight to the bank.
All's lost! Everything's going to shit!
