Or before he won the title. It's a damn shame. He might be the best WW in the world not pretending to be retired but we will never know because his team won't match him with the good WWs. Got his belt from the weakest champion, fights 3 crap opponents and his step back up(if made) is against the newest weakest champion. It's a f'n disgrace. Oh boy, Brook is going to fight the 6th best American, everyone get excited.

For some reason Khan-Cotto intrigues me, I think it would be a good action fight, granted I am betting Amir won't want to get right back in with a heavy hitter, but IMO that's a good matchup.

There are some decent matches for him at 147 and 154, he can still get a belt. Khan vs Liam Smith in the UK?? Khan vs Kell Brook?? Khan vs Bradley??

Speaking of Tim Bradley, what a fucking shame he wasn't around when Ricky Hatton was in his pomp, what a great fight they could have had at 140!

I don't see Khan winning a title at 147. I think Spence, Brook, and Thurman would KO him.

I think that he needs to go straight for Garcia, if he can't beat who I now think is a weaker champion then maybe he should just give up. I don't think it's worth taking the long road back he does not have time. He'll end up just becoming irrelevant with so many good welterweights already out there.

No Kell Brook then? Wouldn't that fight sell?

I think it would but it would make things even more interesting if both guys have belts and Khan is coming off a good win.

At the same time I'm being a hypocrite for saying this because I always believe that the Tyson Fury v Price fight not happening lost the two a load of money. I just don't think that Khan will ever fight Brook his ego won't let him.

    Garcia or Bradley.

    Or Golovkin.

What? He'll be two times faster than Golovkin. Just keep moving up in weight. The speed will have to factor at some point.

Get back in line. He tried to jump the shark and make up overnight the 'big star' status he has clamored for and felt he deserved for some time now. Khan doesn't have the armor or 9 lives to stay at 154. Honestly the welter division is stacked up high and he knew going into Canelo that he could rebound on name regardless of result. I just don't think it's the same and the build and momentum has to suffer a bit. Khan vs Berto would be nice style wise and convenient for promotion.

We all on here NO Khans downfall he has no chin I remember Limmond dropping him early in his pro career,!
Limmond was not a power puncher the writing was on the wall.!
Khan may fight Brook nice big pay day for both and I would not mind going to watch that one.
What ever Khan is he showed some bottle he went up in weight and faced Canelo, he had a go he was brave more than most.

I think Khan is done. He was stopped and rocked all along his career, but this time he was out cold. He looked in serious trouble on the canvas and it cannot be good for the neurons getting zapped like that. Khan was lacking functioning neurons in the first place and it would be cruel to want to see that again and again. I already got a serious sense of deja vu seeing him stopped. I was watching the 5th and he got zapped and thought to myself "This is familiar" and then the next round happened and I thought "Is this a replay of a previous fight?" and then I saw he was out of it completely and realised the script had turned even more hardcore. Not cool.

Am trying to think of other fighters who were like this - big Frank. Wouldn't really put Hearns in the same category but there were similarities.

And that's his excitement factor which has made him a fortune. Can't be bad. Blessed with talent and speed mind - but feather fisted for the most part.
I think Tyson Fury could be like that too.

Khan is so bitter and twisted that he will not fight Brooks and give him a pay day.

I think khan will target Garcia to avenge his loss.
