Glad I tuned in on time for the first fight, Gallagher v Dixon was a one-round cracker. Dixon looked like a proper scrapper, and was doing well landing some good shots. Then, a cracking shot from Gallagher caught Dixon on the way in, and he practically faceplanted the canvas on the way down.
Fair play, Dixon tried to get back up from a heavy knockdown, but he stumbled backwards and the ref waved it off. Good little start for the card, and Gallagher takes the Celtic Welterweight title back to Belfast.
The sparkage shot looked like it caught him on the back of the head. Good stoppage

Gotta love a bonus fight...Thorley v Dube, and I bet there's over a foot in height difference between these two. Thorley looking a little more cautious, but I'd put my house, if I had one, on a 4 round decision to Thorley.
I suppose we can put this one in the books, not exactly a cracking fight, but Thorley clearly has the quality, while Dube is strong, but just a journeyman.
Thorley probably learned he has to concentrate a little more, and then work his jab more to keep the opponent off. As Richie Woodhall's saying, having the cut may help him in the long run.
I did not realise it was on spike TV! That was added later!
