I think that Martin's performance was among the worst put forward by a reigning title holder. However, I also think that he was probably a bully fighter, and while he could look good coming forward, he was just overwhelmed. I think its harsh to say he's the weakest titleholder ever, rather he was a fighter who was totally overwhelmed.

Agreed. He beat Holyfield for fucks sake, in the most boring manner possible but still.Ruiz beat some good fighters and had more defences.
I think that Gerry Coetzee is the worst hw title holder ever. Iran Barkley beat him years later.
