OK. Only reason I thought that was because from the time I spent in Guyana which was obviously formerly British Guiana and the times I entered so many different Jamaican grocery stores in New Jersey and New York I always see the Bakewell brand which makes sense since they are or were part of the Commonwealth after they split from the UKHa! It should be with a name like that but no, very old English recipe mate. Loads of variations. Bakewell tart, pudding, fingers etcOutside of class I am very lax. Never heard of the bakewell brand. Was refering to baking as in drying out greenOK.
