I wouldn't mind seeing that fight

i'm not sure mac is anywhere near what he was though, and I cant see that fight going on for too long

Lebedev isn't some unknown, and I think Bellew would be really hard pressed to win that fight but it could be very good. Would far rather see that myself.

Yeah it would be an interesting fight, and for people like me and you, who are well aware of lebedev, then that's understandable

But the vast majority of Brits have probly never heard of him the haye fight is much more interesting

I'd rather see Bellew haye, big fight for Britain that one

Why? It's not one Bellew would realistically have any chance to win unless Haye killed himself trying to get to 200, and why would he do that when he can earn decent money to do nothing but lift weights and fight tomato cans? Plus, what would it actually do for either guy or boxing in Britain? If Bellew were to beat Lebedev at home(I wouldn't expect it but at least it's a fight), would it not be better for British boxing?

It's possible haye would blast him out in a round

I think Bellew is better than that tho, we'd get 4 or 5 at least

I think it would reflect badly on Haye if that were to happen, and it wouldn't have much to do with how good Bellew is or isn't when it didn't. Unless(and as is probably the case) Haye couldn't make 200 pounds and the fight couldn't happen anyways. Bellew was talking about moving to HW to make it the other day, he'd be retarded to do that.

Ok. So if he lost , what would that mean. Wouldn't it be bad for British boxing?
I mean, it'll be an example of somebody bullshitting their way to a shit load of money?
Or doesn't it work both ways?

    hmmm

are you asking that if bellew beating lebedev would be a golden star for Britain would he losing to lebedev be a black spot on the landscape of british boxing?

and that is to say that a loss would prove that it is clearly possible to talk your way to make money in British boxing?
