Spinks would bow out after a few crushing body shots. He would be wincing every time Marciano unleashed. Spinks would last until late, maybe Round 10, 11 but Marciano hunts his ASS DOWN AND LOWERS THE BOOM. NO ESCAPING IT. That is just a summer lawn barbecue Legend that he had no defenses or that his defenses were poor. Marciano was very good at slipping the jab the way he leaned back and to his right and staying on the back foot all the time and getting very low. He was definitely not easy to hit it with the jab or the left hook. In 49 fights he was only dropped twice. Once for a two-count and once for a three-count.
