Valuev might be garbage, but he ain't stupid. If a C-level fighter like Larry Donald whipped his ass (he was robbed). He knows what would happen if he faced better fightersOriginally Posted by Lyle
I disagree. I happen to like Valuev and think he can become a great champion.Originally Posted by Violent Demise

Foolish, boy. What makes you think that? His gift, title winning effort against Ruiz? His robbery win of Larry Donald? Or was it the way he destroyed smaller fighters like Owen Beck and Clifford Ettienne? The guys garbage. Accept it.Originally Posted by Rotten Apple
He might not be there yet, but he'll get there. He's improving with each fight. I've read some your posts before joining. There's seems to be no middle ground with you. It's either agreat fighter or garbage fighter. Guess what, there is a middle level. And Valuev is there. With more work he could become a great fighter.Originally Posted by Violent Demise

You'll be 3000 years old by the time Valuev becomes a great fighter. He needs a lot of workOriginally Posted by Rotten Apple
I think it's sad you don't think a fighter can better himself. Now I understand why you have so many sad clicks. If I could sad click you, I would.Originally Posted by Violent Demise

Valuev who knocked out Owen beck with shots to the back of the skull is a real improvementOriginally Posted by Rotten Apple

That's funny, I remember you saying that Owen Beck lost because he backed straight up.Originally Posted by Starr
Valuev does hit in the back of the head though...I don't know about Beck but he's done it before
It's a shame that Valuev's trainers all his life haven't made it clear to him that his jab should be the punch he uses the most. Had he started at a young age concentrating on his jab the most he'd be alot tougher to beat, with his ridiculous reach and all. He's extrememly beatable and that shouldn't be the case with someone as big as he is.
but you cannot deny the fact that Valuev is learning as he goes....with every fight he is getting better...Originally Posted by Violent Demise
