Very likely they did duck him.. Certainly it would have been logical for any of them to fight him at 154 or 160, aside from the fact that he wasn't as big a name as they were... I know Thomas Hearns gave him the nickname, "bodysnatcher" after sparring with him at Kronk... And even if you've only seen McCallum fight Roy Jones, that should tell you right there how good he was in his prime, considering that fight was about 10 years past it and 20 lbs heavier... And he still gave a prime Roy Jones his toughest fight of anyone, bar none(imo, but I don't see an arguement). Anyways, he would KILL De la Hoya, absolutely brutalize him to the body and would win a one sided affair by stoppage.
