US Military now pays for "gender reassignment surgery" for Trannies

This stuff makes me scratch my head. Nothing to do with my relgous beliefs but I don't think its a positive for our military.I have no issues with women serving, god bless them. But the basic training physical requirements have had to be adjusted to many times to allow women to pass. Over fifty percent could not do one pull up. If you find yourself in combat you want to know the guy next to you can n carry or drag you to safety if need be. That is my problem with things like this. If I couldn't pass the physicality of boot camp I would have been out. This may sound sexist but if we want men, women and LGBT equal shouldn't we be held to the same standards. I don't believe I. Discrimination but I don't think, for my own experience, this will do a positive thing for moral in our armed forces. If these people want to serve go ahead, but not combat roles. I wonder if I could go to thee VA today and request a sex change. Oh well bitching about it won't change its just Obama is our commander in chief and I think much of this is coming down from him and I don't know why he seems fixated on making this stuff part of his lame duck legacy.

It doesn't make any sense, but they have to keep coming up with ideas to justify fleecing the taxpayer. If they want that then why not just give something meaningful like universal healthcare to everyone under 90 kgs and a nominal top up fee for everyone 5 kgs over? Or free tuition in all non humanities courses to poor students? Or something that could provide value to society like investing in organic foods and banning TV and cell phones?
