If they want that then why not just give something meaningful like universal healthcare to everyone under 90 kgs and a nominal top up fee for everyone 5 kgs over? Or free tuition in all non humanities courses to poor students? Or something that could provide value to society like investing in organic foods and banning TV and cell phones?
