You are ignoring the fact that it was Eubank Sr who wanted to double the ticket price. Not GGG or his team, unlike the helium filled heads of Cwis and Cwis Jr, they live and work on planet earth.

Why does Hearn suddenly become gospel?

He was desperate for a money making fight for Brook. This wasnt just getting a journeyman to step in. He was me tioning about Brook fighting Golovkin months ago. Hearn throws the dice with his fighters and sometimes it pays off like when Froch fought Pascal. Most people thought Pascal could be the best in the division and would best Froch who was coming off the Ward loss. The difference here is this will be a repeat of Canelo v Khan, in fact I doubt Brook has the success that Khan breifly did.

The reasoning is, oh well he still has his title to go back down to. Giving Eubank the fight doesnt earn Hearn the same amount as giving Brook the fight.
