Wilder picked up some injuries in that bout and will now face a long layoff (surprise) which will of course see him come back to fight another nobody (surprise) before getting back to fighting actual contenders for his title.

Part of me is ok with how slow Wilder has taken his career, but another part of me wants to see him test himself.

I think Wilder-Joshua is the next big time fight us boxing fans really want to see, I only hope it's built up well and made quickly so that there can be rematches should either fighter deserve or earn one at a later date.
