He can't fight in close high volume withSanta Cruz. Cruz was doing serious damage.

The last 30 seconds of the 6th round seems to have changed the momentum here.

Early on his punches weren't nearly as effective though.

Now, I've seen about 3 fights so far this year, but could this be a FOTY candidate? I know there haven't been any knockdowns or really anyone getting rocked (aside from maybe Cruz early), but this is a great fight that is being fought at a high level.

Frampton left on the end of some head jarring shots in 11th. Big brass by both in what better be a immediate rematch strictly for my entertainment Great scrap!

Great fight, I wasn't scoring it but I'm left with the feeling that Santa Cruz made the necessary adjustments to pull it out over the last half of the fight.

Could see it being a draw, but I think we'll definitely see a rematch.

117-11 for Frampton? THat's absurd. Great fight but I thought Santa Cruz winning it 8-4 or so would have been acceptable, yeeesh.

Same here. Frampton landed cleaner early but Santa Cruz landed so many more putting early rounds rather even for me but Santa Cruz dominated the 2nd half of the fight.

I feel the same. I thought the first half was close with Frampton edging it with his counter-punching. I thought Santa Cruz clearly was the better fighter in the 2nd half.

Rigo congratulates Frampton and says he's willing to go to Belfast to settle differences.

I have watched it again still had Frampton the winner.
Cruz volume of punch's was higher but he missed a lot.
Leo looks good against lesser fighters Frampton is a different animal, a good fight in the rematch I feel Carl will beat him more convincingly.

Cruz said my dad told me I won he would say that he is his father.
Leo also said he wanted the rematch in LA ,! Frampton was the away fighter on home soil he will I think win more convincingly maybe even stop Cruz.
After watching the fight 3 times I still have Frampton as the winner.
Hell of a fight this is what we want great fighters in great fights.
