My grandfather was friends with the great inventor and Harvard PhD Percy Julian by the way during the 1940s when he worked at Glidden Laboratories. They became great friends at a company picnic and would regularly visit each other at Christmas until the 1960s. Percy Julian was a great man a great scholar and inventor and a gentleman. What an inspiration he should be to the young black generation however I don't think any of these young black kids even know his name let alone about his Great accomplishments for Humanity.
