That's not halfway because he announces the fight, then there's a 3-4 month build up.
How about if he hasn't fought by Cinco de Mayo 2017? I'd accept that.

but if he announces a fight then he clearly hasn't retired, he's never been out of action for 18 months before as far as I am aware so that would be a pretty good indication that he doesn't have any plans to get back in the ring.

and then boom its time for Master to take the hit and get that flag up

He was out of the ring for 2 years before fighting Marquez I think.
