It's not like Brook is scared, I mean he is fighting GGG after all. But Hearn started talking about getting out of Spences way a while back. Without saying it of course. They knew when Spence would become mandatory and started the 2 more at 147 talk back then. I'd love to see a Brook/Spence fight but not soon after gaining all that muscle. If Brook wants to fight Spence he should give up the belt and get comfortable at 147 again then fight him. Going in weak from losing muscle mass would be a very bad idea.

Brook is a smart man for jumping for the money instead of cleaning his house against that. Spence shouldn't wait on him or the time it will take to recover after Golovkin and prove he can recommit to 147.

If Brook gives up the belt a Spence/Ponomarov fight would be fun while it lasted for the belt.

Yeh he's a busy boxer but thinking he may very well come up with 'hurt hands' again and not fight him. Hope not. Don't know who Horn is but he turned down a shot at lower ranked guys. Peterson shares management in Haymon so he may be thrown in? Eh.

The world title is Spence's, Brook knows it.

I get the reasoning for fighting GGG, but he wanted no part of Spence before and this is the perfect opportunity to move up in weight without it looking like a duck.

It's a fair assumption to make, and I have to be consistent. When Khan Challenged Canelo, I said he was ducking the WW's.
So I can't defend it. I'm not sure if Brook will be able to make WW After this, so the title will become Spence's. I just hope that he gets the defining fights he deserves.
It's too easy nowadays for everyone to avoid each other. They make enough money without the risk of losing.
Spence v Crawford in 18 months time when they're both top of the pile would be fantastic for the sport.

You lot seem a little gassed over a guy that stopped an ancient old powderpuff puncher. Bundu is decent but not world level. And that's two non-punchers in a row Spence has fought. I'd like to see him beat someone world-class before anointing him the second coming.

Fights with Thurman, Porter and Garcia should be easy to make considering they're all with Al.

That's exactly what the trolls on boxingnews24 say, like word for word. Are you a boxingnews24 poster?

Porter is the only one of those 3 I think would even entertain the idea of fighting Spence right now. I mean Thurman said he wanted 10 million FFS and Garcia, we all know how Garcia has been handled the last few years.

Eh? What? I'm a troll because I want to see Spence beat a top class fighter before crowning him as Floyd Jones Jr? Seems a pretty logical opinion to have.

As I've said before about Spence, there are few fighters that you can just tell are special even before fighting top competition. He is one of them. He fights so effortlessly. I would be shocked if he lost to one of the top WW's.

Porter is too open and too easy to counter as he comes in.
Thurman with his one shot at a time would be very predictable and Spence would could out on enough pressure to male him uncomfortable.
Garcia doesn't like too much movement and activity. Although, because of his counter punching, I give him the best shot since Spence has shown to be able to get countered occasionally.

I understand why some people are still skeptical about him, but I would be shocked if he was a let down.
