    WTF was that stoppage?
Did Brook's corner stop the fight because they though Brook might get knocked down?
He was still landing, and defending himself for the most part. Not to mention he was probably up on most everybody's cards.

Much better fight than I expected. I think Brook as much as admitted something was said in the corner during the interview. Seemed as though he was counting on being able to match strength more than he could, kind of fought out of his skin and once he was sapped of what he had he was going out hard. Certainly not a great showing for GGG, but as much as his size advantage will be played up, it's probably hard to look good against a smaller and quicker guy who basically fought a 4 rounder.

No way should he have been up!

1 round is all he should have had!

He was also not "still landing" he was getting hit with everything, wasnt really defending himself properly and not fighting back or even trying to survive by holding. You cant let the ref see you get get and not fight back. You have to defend yourself at all times.

What happened is what most thought would happen. Brooks speed would keep him in the fight till the mid rounds but Golovkin strength and power would take over.

If Ingle or the ref hadn't stopped it, Golovkin was about to.

Iv also heard Hearn say that if Brook was a middle he would have won. No! Brooks orbital bone was broken because he doesn't move his head. Being a middle wouldn't have helped him move his head. He also didn't either didn't have the stamina to keep up the pace he tried to set, or he tried to put too much on his punches. Golovkin takes a good shot, he regularly sparred Kovalev for 18 months and Kovalev says he has a very hard head, never seen him hurt or dropped.

Hearn also said he was winning on the cards. HTF was that happening?

I've just watched the fight back, I think I got a little taken in by the athmosphere and by Brooks effort.

Even when Brook landed his biggest shots they just bounced of GGG, he wasn't hurt once, he was walking through Brooks punches and loading up on both the head and body of Brook, Kell took the shots at the start but by the 5th it was a case of job done, watching it back I don't actually think it was that bad of a stoppage, Brook had absolutely nothing to give.

First thing GGG said 'he's not a middleweight' couldn't agree more

Kell say's 'I didn't feel his power...in the second rd he fractured my eye socket'

Kell made himself sound like a bit of a fool at the end, trying to make out that he was completely in control and was hurting GGG but not getting hurt himself, come on Kell, you can't blame that on solely on your eye, you was getting beat up.

Brook was hurt in the first round (forgot what punch it was) and GGG just backed away.

Brook then was moaning about the eye from the 2nd round.

i think Brook's accent makes him sound like a dick.

I dont think his head movement is as bad as you make out. If you look back, you'll see how many of those wide arc hooks of GGG missed the target, and quite a few other shots. I also think the eye injury didn't help him avoid shots.
Just like Canelo v Khan, it doesn't matter who was ahead on points because it was never going the distance and the naturally bigger guy was always going to get on top.
The stoppage was a tad early, but I'm not the one who is in there with a beast and with a fractured eye socket. An early finish was inevitable , so no major problem there.
Hearn's comments are a bit ridiculous really. If Granny had balls , we'd call her Grandad!
