At this point I think Garcia is just another fight for Khan. I think the bravado aspect is long gone because Garcia hasn't really done anything since. (one of his greatest achievements in Matthyse tapered off because matthysse has tapered off). Khan has gone on to decision some ok fighters but by the time he got to them, none of them were undefeated (collazo was considered a has been and Algieri was considered by many to be a never was), then he showed balls by being Ko'd by Cañelo... He knows he cant go much longer so he's looking for publicity big money fights (like cotto is). Safer is better but willing to trade faculties for dollars if the moneys right.
