If I can prepare my own basic vegetables with a bit of tasty meat and some rice and then supplement with further nutrition then that is enough on those days. When you work all day though, you cannot really eat a big meal too late at night and so I eat less calories than I should on those days. It is what it is. I burn a lot of energy when working too. I have always been insect in form with a hyper rate of metabolism. Supplementing in the right proportions is good for you and things like Vitamin K2 you cannot even get in most ordinary food. A good protein powder and a decent vitamin supplement is essential IMO. I am with P4P. I would prefer a perfect pill 3 times a day. There isn't enough time in the day to really cook well.
You could always plant your own veg in a window box in Coleridge close. Then just eat raw, cooking just kills nutrients apparently, and you could take it with you to eat at sunshine deserts. I know space is at a premium but Bilbo managed to cultivate an entire allotment in his arse.
