I have to admit that from what I've seen of him he will come up short by quite a bit.
I agree Hughie is not as good as Tyson Fury.

very few people expected Tyson to win he HW title tho

only 4ish fights ago I thought he was miles away

He had Arias hurt. Once hes over his problems and gets regular action he will loosen up and the power will be there. No one is having an easy time with him, no one is walking through him and they are tough fighters.

With skills like hes learning he doesnt need to fall back on power. Hes gone the distance and wasnt off balance, getting hurt or looking tired like other fighters
    You mean like Tyson or.......?

I have heard some excuses explaining a fighters power , but he does have to fall back on power is about the best ever lol . No he doesn't fall back on power he fiddles and flicks his way to a close points verdict in one of the most boring fights ever.
How lucky we are as boxing fans that fighters hold back on power , or wait does Wilder or Joshua hold back on power also ? I cant wait till those 2 start hitting at full power it will be fun for the fans.
Nobody feel James Douglas is an all time great and he went into the trenches with an unbeaten power puncher in Tyson and he knocked him out , he then flopped in his first defence , fury beat a guy almost 40 years old in a close UD .
Fury will be judged on what he does from here not on 1 fight.

His last fight he didnt look it, he was it, without question. His last few, Klitschko aside, he's looked rank average. As I've said a million times, Tysons either been taking the piss a bit prior to Wlad and he strapped it on for the big show. Or, he got the man at the right time. The only way we find out which is if he actually fights again.

Why go to points when you can just snort a load of blow and avoid a rematch?

Looking like Hughie will be Parkers first defence as he's been installed as mandatory.

I think this is a big step for Hughie but he could pull it off but if that means facing Haye then it could be dangerous for him being in that world class league too soon.

I guess it has not done AJ any harm.
