Even suggesting reparations of any kind when there is so much time between is an extremely nasty position to take that is only going to hurt both sides. We basically(indirectly, I suppose) have such a system for Natives in Canada, and per capita they are probably one of, if not the most marginalized and impoverished demographics in any first world country. It's an absolute disgrace brought upon by extremely misplaced "empathy" from uber-left airheads.
