I'd be OK with Joshua Haye. Although Haye is currently doing the rounds on Twitter confirming that its Joshua Wlad in December.

Cheeky cunt tweeted it reminds me of Ali-Berbick... coming from a man that has had two farcical opponents in a row.

I told you guys...I fucking told you.....nobody ever trusted me but I spoke the 100% truth about him. Haye is and always has been a PART TIMER, he wants the lifestyle without the danger of fighting live bodies.

Haye is a boxer with style and crowd appeal in the UK, and the fact that his record contains a few stiffs is no different to Wilder, Klit, Fury, and all the rest of them. I would say he's done better than most in terms of making himself a living, good luck to him. The fact that an American, whose athletes are deserting heavyweight boxing such their main prospect is Deontay Wilder (a former Haye sparring partner) says it all. Haye sells tickets in the UK, like him or not. But I'm fucked off that a YANK keeps pouring shit on him, just fucking butt out! America no longer figures in the World HW scene, they're all playing football!

Why shouldn't an American have a view on a British 'fighter' (which David Haye most certainly is not)?

America doesn't dominate the sport as it used to, especially at heavyweight. But then again I see English people commenting about other football teams on here and the same applies.

This is is a boxing forum, where people have views on Yanks, Brits, Filipinos, Kazakhs, Puerto Ricans , Mexicans etc etc. Are you seriously suggesting that people are only allowed to comment on boxers who are their own nationality? That would get quite boring and all we would get on here is arse kissing.

Admittedly, that might be better than some of the stranger posts we do stumble upon, but still ........

That was a strange tirade indeed, I certainly wouldn't have much to post about here as a Canadian. I think people rag on Haye because they know he is still very good, but just won't fight anybody, and what's wrong with that? Nobody gets a pass from real fight fans for being fed garbage, Haye has a lot more cheerleaders than any American HW, but what's that got to do with boxing? He's supposed to be respected because he can sell tickets for non events?

Haye is a MOUTH who boxes when it needs a paycheck. David Haye hasn't been serious about boxing since he first became a heavyweight else he would have IMMEDIATELY fought Wlad and/or attempted to renegotiate after his back (aka Setanta) went out on him or attempt gain a rematch after he hurt his little toe. He didn't, oh YES I agree 100% David Haye could bring in the bucks....here's the caveat IF....HE....FOUGHT but he didn't he ran his fucking mouth yak yak yak yak all day long.

Haye comes back from the loss to Wlad and what does he do? He fights Dereck Chisora and he does very very well and then? Does he capitalize on that momentum? Of course he does.....4 years later by fighting everyone's favorite Mark De Mori...WHO? EXACTLY but that's ok, that was a warm up for....Arnold Gjergjaj whose name looks like a sideways word jumble and I've literally never seen nor heard from before or since! And that fight is a warm up for? Did that fight move him up the rankings These are the questions I wonder about as a boxing fan...there's a rhyme and reason for why a fighter chooses an opponent (such as but not limited to): stay busy, knock off ring rust, move up the rankings, prove a point to critics, get in line for a title shot, grudge match, and the record padder....of Haye's recent fights what do YOU sir reckon they are? I'm going to go out on a limb (and be nice about it) and say it's to knock off ring rust, though he could be padding a record

My issue with David Haye has never been his talent, he's quite athletic, very fast, very powerful....his ambition is lacking, he won't put the work in, IN THE RING, but his ego is the size of Jupiter...if David Haye stood on his ego he'd be looking down on Tyson Fury's bald head through a fucking telescope. And THAT sir is my issue with Haye, he's all talk no action and I for one am quite happy he's ready to be in the ring again because he WILL get knocked out eventually....(that's another reason he doesn't like fighting often, he's a terrified little pussy....not compared to me as I'm not a fighter but as compared to other fighters). People love to say "Wlad is scared to get hit".....yeah, maybe he does, but then again Wlad ain't got a problem stepping in the ring with anyone, he attempts to AVOID being hit because he's not a fucking caveman and what heavyweight made their bones accepting getting blasted in the head But David Haye actively avoids getting in the ring with dangerous fighters....and yeah I see exactly that all the way from America and I'm fairly certain others see it too.

David Haye's record at Cruiserweight was excellent, he beat Mormec in his own back yard to become undisputed champion, meeting plenty of punchers on the way and taking shots. He then moved on to the opportunity in the Heavyweights because the division is PISS POOR, for you to even mention Chisora as a worthwhile opponent shows your ignorance of European boxers quality. I repeat, the heavyweight division is full of shit and he is trying to take opportunities. Unlike you I do not pour scorn on a non-Brit like Deontay, although all the quality of his opponents is laughable. I'm not concerned about the size of his ego, why should you be FFS? He has got a son named Cassius! I wouldn't be interested in a boxer that DIDNT have an ego. If he does get knocked out, that's boxing. But phrases like terrified little pussy belong in lads mag rants.

David Haye was a good cruiserweight....maybe that's great for England but in boxing it's just kind of "Well that's nice, when are you going to do something worthwhile?" and that's not because he's British, absolutely none of this is because he's British. Now truth be told I hate Steve Bunce because he is up the ass of whatever British boxer is the flavor of the month and it's JUST British boxers and it was especially David Haye who was his favorite.

If the heavyweights are "PISS POOR" what the fuck were the cruiserweights? It's guys too big for 175 and not talented enough for heavyweight it has ALWAYS been that way, ALWAYS. And it ALWAYS will be that way, it was that way when Qawi and Holyfield were there!

Dereck Chisora isn't worthwhile now but in 2012 after a UD loss to Vitali he was more worthwhile than most. More so than Marc de Mori. Hell if David Haye fought the 85 year old Shannon Briggs right now it would be better than Marc de Mori! In fact, people wouldn't actually mind if he DID fight Briggs because at least Briggs used to be a somebody! Fuck I'd be ELATED if David Haye decided to avenge his Olympic defeat to Odlanier Solis and he's fat and worthless as a professional boxer!

Pour as much scorn as you like on Deontay Wilder, I really don't care and ABSOLUTELY yes he's been in with some terrible fighters.....buuuuut he didn't talk shit for 4 years and pull out of fights with the fighter he talked shit about.

"But phrases like terrified little pussy belong in lads mag rants".....quote it correctly if you're going to complain about it. The caveat should be included not compared to me as I'm not a fighter but as compared to other fighters .

So who is Haye fighting hmm? What GIGANTIC boxing name is stepping in the ring with Haye this time Will it be somebody we've heard about? I'm going to guess it'll be Tony Bellew....AFTER Haye fights another nobody. Don't complain to me complain to Haye, he's the one not taking his profession seriously.
