Boxing needs this to be perceived as a close fight going in, but it won't be in the end. Kovalev is getting schooled from start to finish. Easy night's work for Ward.

Kovalev calls himself "Krusher" yet doesn't fight like one. He comes out looking to land his jab and looking to maintain a certain distance.

He has to be a Krusher or bust
    .

He wont be out-boxing Ward for 12 rounds. Ward will take Kovalev's best weapons then drag him to the deep end like a crocodile. This is not a competitive fight.

Ward's boxing skills are fucking amazing. People will also be suprised that not only will Ward outbox and school Kovalev but he will also bully Kovalev too. Kovalev has been stopped before in the amateurs and dropped 4 times vs Boone. If Ward decides to fight inside then Kovalev won't see the 10th round.

People underestimate Ward's brute strength, he ties you up and beats you up, you spend the fight getting tired trying to untangle yourself, he pushes you and you are off balance and tired.
If ever there was a hyped fighter, it's this Siberian bum slayer - and on Nov 19th he will get found out.
In a way I hope you are right but Kov is a quality fighter and the best at the weight.

Boxing could do with Kovalev winning. No decent fights almost all year and then when we do get one Ward wins a stinker is the last thing we need. It's not going to be easy for a past-his-best Ward to try and jab and grab his way to a points win over Kovalev and I really hope I'm not going to have to see it.

It's a great fight. Last time I looked forward to fight as much as this was probably when De La Hoya fought Trinidad. In truth I was only kinda joking that this is an easy fight for Ward. I think I'm only 65% confident of Ward victory. If it was Ward Vs GGG at super middle I'd be 85% confident of Ward victory. I think Kova is a better boxer than people give him credit
