Strangely, I sincerely hope he doesn't (pay the consequences). In all honesty, building a physical wall between the U.S. and Mexico is an expensive, impractical idea. Better border patrol should be possible without it. I know Trump said it in a real, not figurative way.... but people shouldn't hold their breath for a real wall.

In order to have a better chance of succeeding, can we agree that he needs to at least make an attempt to unify the country? After all... the half that's pissed off has just as much rights as those who are gloating.

So Hillary has already been defeated. Trump is POTUS. Pragmatically, what option best serves the interest of uniting the country so we can leave all this useless anger behind...... continuing the witch hunt on Hillary and further pissing off the already hurt half of America (whether she deserves it or not)? Or concentrating on reaching out to all of America and getting to work on "making America great again"?

If something did happen l, it would probably be over the foundation. A conviction might be appropriate but I don't hope she wouldn't go to jail she may be become a martyr. I don't think any president belongs in jail. A trump pardon would be called for

Might have to compromise. Electronic walls can be built, expand patrols, drones. All these would be effective. Slow down immigration for a while. Make trump emperor with a royal blood line. His ten year old son will be next in line.

There's other ways to curb illegal immigration short of spending countless billions on an ugly wall.

I lived in Turkey for 2 years and some parents of my students worked in various Embassies there. One guy worked in the Mexican Embassy and said Turks and Syrians were purchasing tourist visas at big premiums for the country of Mexico. So many that he reported it to his boss, who did NOTHING about it. Mexico was giving huge numbers of visas out.

The Wall is also about keeping out Islamic Terrorists who EASILY buy their way to Mexico from Middle Eastern countries and can then EASILY enter the USA from there.

I will not discuss this very obvious topic any longer with contrarian butt-hurt Snowflakes.
