Walters looked off at weigh in, bit drawn. He almost comes off 'just happy to be here too' in lead up. Lomas work rate will be hell to keep up with after early rounds.

Didn't see the weigh in, but just saw that Walters is an 11 to 1 underdog some places as of today Loma was always going to be the favourite and I expected him to win clearly, but that suggests something surely. Hope it's not the case Walters is drained or ill prepared, I just want to see a good fight as this certainly should have been on paper.

Oh no doubt about it and all you can hope from sport, best facing the best. Like Walters to bring Loma to the brink myself but the weight, layoff, and wonder if he's stuck mentally on that robbery draw vs Sosa and then watching him go on to win title. But that's probably me reading to much into it . Can also blame that hat. Can't remember many fighters waving a ganja leaf flag while promoting biggest fight of his career

It would seem that in no way he would be unmotivated for this fight. It's a huge fight and could really boost him big if he even just does well. I didn't see the weigh in but I really hope Walters comes in ready.

Looks good to me. Agree on the hat, but that's basically the Jamaican flag 11 to 1 still strikes me as wide considering Walters can really punch, but Loma has looked so damn good since the Salido fight. Hard to believe he even lost that one now, despite what a dirty mofo Salido is/was.

Can we say Loma is clearly the best pro with 7 fights ever? Only person who comes close in recent times must be Rigo, and I don't think it's that close. Shame that he's clearly smaller and getting old now, the skill on display if they could have fought would have been off the charts.

I think that people tend to forget that Walters was very highly regarded just a couple of years ago and he hasn't lost. He got that draw in a fight that he easily won. He is a very good fighter. 11 to 1 odds is way too wide. Loma is good, but he isn't THAT good. Even a fighter on Floyd mayweathers level shouldn't be an 11 to 1 favorite to someone as good as Walters.

Stickied for fight. Not sure if they are showing Ponomarev v Ortiz ? but it's a Kov-Ward replay now.

Poma vs Ortiz on now, typical Arum undercard so far, assuming this is the last of the filler.

We're getting an eight rounder and it's billed as the co main event apparently. Colonel Bob commentating. It's so bad I've switched to UFC.

Don't blame you. Ponomarev looks good but not great, Ortiz just trying to survive as expected, type of fight that is necessary in boxing I guess but utterly pointless to watch.

Had to do same for Ward replay. I'd pay to hear the Colonel over Lampley any day btw

Ward bolo punch clowning all 10th. Gets jabs stuffed in the back of his neck. Surprise Kovalev still won.
