Wrong. It's the millenials and centennials that haven't got a clue.
After Generation X it all went to hell in a hen basket.
Baby Boomers started it all with the acceptance of neo-liberalism and the shipping of jobs to China and the erosion of their own idealism. Their grandchildren have inherited an appalling system. 2008 was the greatest crash since the great depression, yet more jobs were shipped to China, student debt continued to rise, service sector jobs became the norm and kids couldn't afford to leave home until the age of 35. Meanwhile government debt has risen to something like 20 trillion and then all the unfunded liabilities make it something that could extend to the nearest galaxy meaning the grandkids of todays kids are further enslaved. Oh, and the super rich have doubled their wealth while the poor have continued to get poorer. And people wonder why kids today want a system with a bit of socialism and humanity attached to it? No, the people born post WW2 got sloppy and they stopped paying attention and now the shit is hitting the fan. All societies become decadent and fail and now it is America's turn and the kids are just trying to stay afloat on a sinking ship. Best to let it sink because the kids can swim to shore and build a new one. The baby boomers are done and good riddance.
I think that's a little simplified miles. The baby boomers fought a good fight but the economy was humming along I think they got to involved in the present and let the politicians get away with murder. Most of these things aren't created by a generation but the elites and the ZOG take advantage while people think things are good. Actually I have read that fault can truly be blamed on the greatest generation but these could all be ZOG smokescreens

I don't think it is unrealistic to say that things have gone completely wrong since let's say the 1970's when the gold standard was pretty much abolished, unchecked genocide became the norm and neo liberalism was essentially born. In fact real wages have only stagnated since that time so it all starts with the baby boomers who were taking all these drugs and being idealistic and then mutated into yuppy drones who ignored that everything was in terminal decline. The sensible response would have been to stop having children, but they wouldn't stop and they didn't consider the decline going on all around them and sending women to work and expanding personal debt was never a realistic way of hiding the falling wealth and inability to grow the economy without permanent war. Thus each and every generation has had it worse leading to occupy having sniper rifles aimed at them after yet the biggest looting in the name of the oligarchs yet. Instead you have a bunch of old guys crying about 'snowflakes' who completely disregard the societal collapse that has taken place over 50 years on their watch. Better to have feelings than be an old dinosaur simply trudging along accepting that it's all a bit shit and that's the way it is. 'Let's blame a sector of society to make ourselves feel better'....all the evidence is that it is the boomers who got fat, lazy and comfortable with gradual decline as they knew it would fall on later generations. How selfish is that? At least have the decency not to have children and put them through it and then you wouldn't have any of this.

The gold standard was bs anyway. Hitler got us off the gold standard in the 30's saying money would be based on a mans labor. Greed for money and power transcends generational tendencies. The Rothchilds are behind every economic downfall, it where they make the most money.

Gold standard is the only way to control money supply. Without it you have what we have had for nearly 50 years. A banker run paradise with no check and balances, constant money supply inflation and a decline in living standards for all.

Boom and bust happens because politicians do no understand money, refuse to regulate, and yes, it is purposeful. We are due a very big correction and then the same mistakes will be allowed to happen again. Central banks must be eradicated as they DO NOT DO WHAT IS LABELLED ON THE TIN. They are worse than weather men. They get it wrong all of the time. Yet they are worshipped by media cretins who do not understand money or how things used to be and bigger fools sit at home and watch it without asking questions.

There is enough gold to cover high denominations. Now only certain nations have that gold because they have had the foresight to see where the ponzi scheme is going. China and Russia for instance have been buying a lot of gold. If you want it, it is there. But you do get silly countries like the UK which doesn't really have very much in the way of reserves.

More realistically silver would be used as a means of transaction as it is more plentiful and you could have coins with a percentage of silver in them. It makes sense and there is a lot of literature on this topic.

These days you can even get cash cards that are backed by gold and can be used like any other card. There are ways and means. Also these days digital currencies are growing and operate somewhat like precious metals in that the supply is limited and so you can break them up into fractions.

There are many ways of going back to a financial system of sanity rather than an endless ponzi scheme that will eventually blow the world up. The main form of terrorism in the world is economic and it originates in the central bank and banking sectors.
