I'm pretty sure that there is a story to it (quite a good one from what I've heard) but you have to stick with it and kind of unravel the yourself.

I like it because it is a proper throw back to the mega drive days of Ghouls and Ghosts, you get killed and you go right the way back to the start, non of this bollocks where you save the game right before a hard point and just stroll your way through, you have to work for it.

Having said that I played it on my own without my mate to navigate me today and it is safe to say that I am pretty fucking useless at it.

I gave it more than 2 weeks to grow on me and in the first week tried to convince myself it was good too...the lack of save points would make sense with a normal difficulty curve but Bloodborne is designed to torture the player. I got through a fair few bosses and there was not much of a story there. You will see! If you complete it I will be impressed.

Oh I won't complete it, if I get 3 weeks out of it then it has done well.

It doesn't mean it's not a good game, I just have a massive lack of stamina with games, my level is COD (online) and fight night.
